I am a Staff Scientist at the Geophysical Laboratory at the Carnegie Institution for Science. I am  interested in the behavior of materials in extreme environments. My research interests span mineral physics and materials science. Currently, I am particularly excited about using timeresolved techniques to study crystallographic transformations during dynamic compression.
